Submit Your Research on Hermit Crabs and Overlooked Marine Species
The Wagenknecht Society for Marine Conservation Inc. (WSMCI) welcomes research submissions that align with its mission to advance open-access marine and coastal studies—with a special focus on hermit crab behavior, habitat ethics, and the protection of overlooked marine species.
As the first organization to compile a dedicated open archive of hermit crab and overlooked species research, WSMCI invites scientists, independent researchers, and conservationists to contribute their findings to this growing body of knowledge.
Before submitting, please ensure your work includes:
1. Clear authorship and institutional or independent affiliation
2. An ethical assurance that no specimens were collected or observed through exploitative means
3. Transparent methodology and proper citation of prior research
WSMCI upholds the principles of open science—ensuring that knowledge remains accessible, reproducible, and ethically grounded.
Once uploaded, approved works become part of the WSMCI Zenodo community archive, contributing to a permanent and transparent record of hermit crab and coastal biodiversity research.
